THE CO-PRODUCTION

THE GESSELL – NIKLAUSS PROJECT is a co-production between Teatro Bizarro and Materile Teatro de Formas Animadas.

The exploration in the limits of the art disciplines, makes the borders to blur and in the interstices to arise new forms of storytelling; that search into the extremes led Teatro Bizarro and Materile Teatro de Formas Animadas to find each other, creating a play that expands the dialogue between the plastic and scenic, that changes the conception of puppet theater in Colombia. The aural universe of sound artist David Vélez brings to the play a haunting and lively soundtrack.Rarely the boundaries between different art disciplines converge in such determined way to shape a play that mixes and defies the standard languages and brings into mind that there are no formal limits when it comes to creation.
